The lineup I would agree with except....RFAs get 1.2m offer sheets and would not require compensation. Pay Carrick, especially Carrick and Corrado NHL salaries. Michalek has a total NMC. Remember the Michalek did the Leafs a favour (favour doesn't describe it) by waiving his NTC to come to Toronto from Ottawa. Part of his agreement he will not be moved, bought out or buried without his permission.

Well, if he isn't good enough to play on the Leafs, Michalek will understand. But the Leafs...and a think Lou knows the value of treating players with respect. It will help in further negotiations with other players in the future.

RFA values are good except Leivo. Not sure why he deserves $1.2m. Players with similar salaries include Palmieri and pearson ($1.5 and 1.4), Joel Colborn (1.75), Alex Chiasson (1.2 - earned it at one point, wasn't handed to him based on AHL), Patrick Eaves (proven vet), Brett Connolly (established depth player with high draft resume).

I think it would be fair to assume be will be getting $950,000- $1m.
