They’re better on defence no doubt, debatable in goal. Who cares about regular season? 2013 Pens were 3-0 vs bruins in regular season and got swept in the playoffs. Regular season doesn’t mean much. You can talk about last playoffs when bruins played leafs if you’d like, but we both know this is a MUCH stronger leafs team, and a similar-worse bruins team. The gap between leafs and bruins forwards is much bigger than the Gap on D.

Freddy no doubt is better this year than rask. http://www.espn.com/nhl/trophies
I’m not a big fan of ESPN but there are many sites that say Anderson is leading the vezina race.

How is Andersen a vezina caliber goalie this season when he has a 2.5 GAA? That's not very Vezina like. I mean, Jaroslav Halak has better numbers all over the place than Andersen.

Halak = 2.39 GAA, .924 SV%
Andersen = 2.50 GAA, .923 SV%

So if Andersen is a "Vezina candidate" than something is really broken or its all baseless hype. Look at Vezina winners of the past. You have to go back to the 80's-90's to find trash numbers like that.

Well, when he's had more cold streaks than Andersen, yet puts up better numbers yearly; it should be easy to tell who the better goalie is lol. Without his cold streaks he'd be one of the top 5 goalies all time and even with them he's got better career numbers than Carey Price and Rinne and Bobrovsky all of which have routinely been superior to Anderson. You're probably using some stupid Capfriendly user metric in your head where you think "well Rask's 2 years older and played in the NHL for 6 more seasons.... therefore Andersen has much more potential!!!"

I love you're take on the leafs being the superior team to the Bruins as well. I mean the Bruins didn't beat them in the playoffs last year or anything and after Toronto added Tavares the Bruins definately aren't 3-1 vs them this season as well with just as many injuries if not more. But hey, the last thing an impaired person would do is feel qualified to make an opinion on the matter based off of zero statistics after watching none of the games. I mean, that doesn't happen on here at all does it? sarcasm

Like I said, regular season doesn’t mean much at all haha. Read the comment above. And Rask doesn’t have better stats then Anderson over the last 3 years what are u saying lmao.

Anderson save percentage: .918, .918, .923
Rask save percentage: .918, .917, .921

All while Anderson faces far more shots against, with a significantly worse defensive team. 2017/18 Anderson faced the most shots against, and in 2016/17 he faced the second most shots against. Anderson played more games in 17/18, but the number of shots faced wasn’t even close. Anyways, I was wrong to say that Anderson is wayyyyy better than Rask. Unlike bruins fans, I can actually admit when I’m wrong. But I do believe Anderson is a better goalie, and majority of people on this website would tend to agree. Anyways I hope bruins beat the leafs. It would provide an easier path for the pens haha

ESPN doesn't even know what Hockey is anymore. The last media outlet that would have a clue about anything hockey would be espn. Seriously, I can't think of any outlet who would give rankings on this with any less of a chance to get it right. The last thing they did was watch the games other than the highlights, so that list is most likely compiled on who has the best numbers with a heavy weight on wins and who's been in the most top 10 highlights lol. Complete garbage.

Sorry bud, but I trust ESPN over some pissed off bruins fan sitting in his moms basement angrily typing on his computer when he sees this list. TSN made a similar list and Anderson once again was the top of it.

I love you assume that we're pissed off, angry, and in our mom's basement because we don't agree with your garbage take. Also, no one gives a **** about the opinions of other posters on this site. This site is littered with morons (you being one of them). hahahaha

Lmao halak is garbage don’t even go there. Buddy is playing hot right now.
Anderson’s GAA is still top of the league amongst starting goalies. Like I said but you’re clearly too dumb to understand. Anderson and rask are close, but majority of the people would probably give the nod to Anderson being better.

Halak's numbers are better than Andersen's so I guess he's garbage too lmfao. Listen, you little chest thumper. No one here gives a damn about your opinion. Now, run along, and finger bang your pucker while you stroke to thoughts of Crosby banging your daddy.

I like how you don't even know the guys name yet you feel qualified to give you 2 cents on which goalie is better and that you use ESPN and TORONTO sports network as your "proof". That just shows you're completely out to lunch about this argument and that you should watch more hockey especially of players who's value you are comparing.

Once again, I couldn't give a **** about the Bruins fans' reputation on this site. This site is ass when it comes to legitimate hockey talk. That's why I don't really bother unless I respect the poster (very few and far between on here). I think the majority of the users here are under the age of 18, play NHL 19 constantly, and when they're not doing that they're pulling their pud for the 5th time. The opinions of little kids are garbage.

Lmao buddy, I live in Ontario, I see plenty of leafs hockey. I also have plenty of friends that are leafs fans. I know how good Anderson is. I’ve seen him play probably more than you. He’s a great goalie with a thin defence in front of him. I’m not saying rask is bad. I’m saying Anderson in my opinion, and in the popular opinion of people on this site, is better then rask

Okay, okay, okay I'll agree Andersen is a decent goalie if you agree to spell his name right. Does that sound fair lil guy? How about I buy you an ice cream and you can vent about how puberty is hard?

I wouldn't really base it off this seasons record against each other to factor. Both haven't played against each other with fully healthy lineups yet. Also Freddy has been a much better goalie than risk the last 3 years. Ill give the bruins D all day but not a chance in goal
