For God's sake. Stop with the Nylander for Pesce deal. Long term that's an awful move for Toronto, and a normally functioning Nylander is worth far more than Pesce ever will be.

Basically only make that trade if you liked hall for Larsson and Steen + cola for stephniak

Weak bottom six. This would make the Leafs a two line team basically and two line teams don't get very far in the playoffs. Bolts for example are an offensive powerhouse club that can run four lines and dominate every night. Leafs are better off keeping Nylander and Sandin as they are going to be important pieces for the future.

A. you only need 3 lines come the playoffs. 4th lines are only there for blow outs. Your top two should be on the ice 20+ and your 3rd 15+. 4th line is some PK guys and checkers to play defense.

I also think you over estimate TB. Hell when was the last time they won a cup. Even this year I think they are gonna have a hard time getting to the finals.
It's much harder to win games in the playoffs with 5'8 and 5'9 wingers than it is the regular season. Which is something TB has yet to figure out.

Lol come on man they were one win from going to the finals last year. They took Washington to 7 games and went to the finals in 2015. Bolts got solid two-way players throughout their whole lineup. A great bottom six that defends well, plays PK mins, and even generate offense. They can do it all. Those problems are so minor anyways. Johnson is really their only small winger and even still size is not an issue for Tampa at all.

They have 2 small wingers, I pointed it out.
As I said, they again will have a hard time getting there. Coming close and getting there are two different things. You act like they are miles better than everyone else. If that was the case, why didn't they win?

No one said they don't have a good team. But if you think other teams aren't just as good you are kidding yourself. Like I said. They will have a hard time reaching the finals this year. If they manage to get out of their own division bracket through either Toronto or Boston, they will have to take on who ever wins the metro. Which has won the 3 last cups. Don't think for a second that isn't still the hardest division in hockey. It is. Those are teams built to win in the post season. You can rack up your regular season wins all year long. But you won't find no 5'8 winger on the penguins or caps. They know better. Tighten your chin strap hockey.
