Anybody know how to sign players in Armchair GM?

How do I sign players with expiring contracts? Players like Matthews, Marner, and Kapanen are all out of time on their contracts but I cant sign them frown

You have to go to the 2019/20 season.....change the salary cap to about 83m...then as rangersandislesfan suggested sign/UFA/RFA. Start with the roster of team you're constructing.
