Add a defensman on Tampa’s side and you’ve got the makings of a good trade for both teams imo. Solid depth for Dallas. And well Tampa will be just plain sick.

It would be good for a year, though the right side of the defence looks shaky. it's the following year when there are rfas to sign and no expiring contracts. Dallas would love that trade.

I would think that Masin is a good another piece to that trade. He would make Dallas' 3rd pairing and be a helpful D. Its just sick how good would the Tampa be after this trade. Having Benn, Stamkos, Kucherov, Point and more offence and Hedman, McDonagh, Sergy at D and fckin best G in the world in net.. gosh..

I think Tampa can manage that. Would be interesting what happens when Vas would get his contract which would be HUGE, but I think they can manage.

Raddysh, Foote, and Volkov should make the roster, and Point will get a lot less, closer to 8-8.5, but other than that this is solid. Tampa basically wins the cup for the next three years. They can trade Palat and Killorn in the next two years, and after that some of their big players like Stamkos become UFAs and their prospects should be able to fill their shoes by then. This is a dynasty team.

Both Palat and Killorn have no NTC's. Why would they want to leave a dynasty?

I feel like they would give Raddysh and Foote another year down and trade Killorn to make room for Volkov. Which is scary.

Can't wait to see Raddysh, Volkov, Foote, Barre-Boulet. We gotta be really happy for what we have. Our organization is simply unbelievable.

I wouldn't be surprised if he signs for 6-7.5M. He is really nice humble guy.

Killorn submits a 16 team trade list in 2020. Palat submits a 20 team list in 2021. So they can be traded without consent to those teams. Which is what they should do. Both players take up space and are still solid guys so they should be easy to move.

Fair enough. I was looking at their clauses for the year this team was made.

I agree. Everyone tend to think Point is getting 9+, but in reality, why would he want to leave Tampa even for more money? This is a dynasty team, and Nylander bargained for months to get 7, so and Point isn’t like that so I expect he’ll get slightly more. Also, look at the Gourde, Kucherov, and Stamkos deals. 5 million for a 60+ point guy, 8.5 for a 40 goal 90 point scorer, 9.5 for a 100 point guy who was getting his big contract, not his ELC ending deal. Guys take big discounts to play in Tampa.

The fact that Foote, Raddysh, and Volkov couldn’t even crack the roster is insane. They are all A prospects and Volkov is in his 20s! These are all future core pieces. Tampa has a really deep prospect pool which is scary. They can’t even use it to fill their needs because they have none! As they trade Killorn, Palat, Miller, and Johnson to create cap room, they’ll acquire more talent, keep their 1st round picks, and continue to develop talent. I don’t see this cycle ending for close to a decade. Like could you imagine when Stamkos is in his contract ending year? By then he could be expendable and they could get an insane return and then turn around and sign him on a smaller deal in the offseason. Yzerman has left a legacy behind him.

Last thing in the world Tampa needs is a ego driven, high contract forward .. Tampa on pace NOW to be highest scoring NHL offense in 20 years!!!!! .. zero need. Tampa just needs to fine tune 4th line and 3rd D pair while doing some trades to manage cap for Point and Vas. If I am GM I would fixate on beating Toronto in round 2 and what, if any, pieces need to be added/deleted to do that.

Well said. I think we have the pieces in place to bring Stanley to Tampa. If we don't I think there will be a few big moves because this team has been close for so long and will need to move in another direction.
