WAAAAY to much in the STL trade going the other way lol

That CAR trade is horrible for Carolina, I like the base of Philly deal but no Sparks involved and that STL deal is astronomically horrible for Leafs.

And why would we want Lewis for Gauthier. Goat is doing fine and no need for overpaid 4th liner.

Grdiner for Maroon and Nolan would be fair.

Not too shabby...my thoughts:

1. Philly trade seems light for Simmonds and not sure if Philly cares about Sparks or Zaitsev
2. Carolina trade likely light too...I don't mind the idea of bringing back McElhinney but pretty sure Dubas won't go back on his decision to push forwards with Sparks instead
3. I personally prefer Jake and Johnsson over Maroon and Nolan
4. Only real issue with the LAK trade is that I'm not a fan of having $2m for your #4 C after this year. I like Lindholm in that spot

Toronto brings back a star caliber player (immediately not season ready) and they go 1-2-2. You want to interject 8! New! Players! to a line up and hope they all work!? These are off season moves man, not regular season moves. Think about Thomas from Montreal last year, he didnt hit his stride at all. Even Boyle the year before. This is really risky. I dont like it.
