you are basically giving up nothing and gaining back proven players and high prospects no way carolina moves teuvo he is easily a top 6 forward and could keep progressing to a 1st liner within a year.

You were doing okay here until you signed Casey DeSmith to 4 years. The guy is unproven and doesn't deserve anything more then a 2 year bridge. That also said and we have Namilov, Delia, Forsberg all ready for a backup role at much cheaper.
