1 star for 1 bad trade. And no he’s not worth nothing dumbass he still puts up points and is good defensively. Just not worth they money that’s why I retained it

i doubt the Hawks retain that contract for the next 6 years. that contract brings his value down, is he worthless? no. is he worth Skinner and a 2nd? no

Amazing player defensively, with retained salary and a 3 cup winner can’t even get a goalie prospect who might not even be that good and a second round draft pick? He’s better than a lot of people think it’s not like he’s going to put a lot of points up but very few d-men do. Focus on how well he is defensively and his experience in the league and tell me he can’t even get a goalie and a second... with retained salary. Worth more than most think.

Jesucristo, dude... You got one star on this because the whole thing is a gigantic mess.

Seabs could've gotten the "amazing defensive player" tag 5 years ago, when he and Keith were a constant pair, and they had Oduya & Hammer doing all the heavy defensive lifting. Sorry, but no, amazing he is nowhere even remotely near. Don't get me wrong, I love Seabs for his contributions to the cups, but he's old, slow, and fat-ish now. His time is over, and we're eating that contract every year unless there's a compliance buyout coming.

Rutta won't get you a 4th, Perlini sure as **** isn't going to get you a 2nd, and Manning would require the Hawks giving a pick with him, for future considerations. Because he's ****ing terrible.

Tyler Myers is a defensive liability in his own end, per just about every Winnipeg fan everywhere, and he'd be looking for more than a 1 mil raise for sure.

On top of all this, what do you do when Debrincat needs a big raise to 6mil? So yeah, not going anywhere with any of this...

its more of the risk over reward, yes you get a solid dman, but do you want to give up a prospect and a pick for someone thats 33 with 6 years left on a contract (even if you retain cap). not really, id rather just keep the team i have

When u look at it that way, ya I can see why you would decline. It’s just I want seabrook gone and I got no clue where he could go so I’m just trying every team
