I’m all for trading Schenn and all for looking at a defenseman, but Krug does 0 to help this team. We’ve already got a great pp qb in Dunn and we’ve got the next Torey Krug (Perunovich) tearing up college hockey.

Dunn has been a turnover machine this year and Krug is a top pair LHD which is hard to come by. Bringing Backes back to help Petro solidfy the leadership plays a role also. He is not the same player, but I believe that Steen and Petro butt heads, while Backes and Petro were best friends

Bringing backes back would just hurt and confuse the locker room even more than it is. And the blues are huge on bokk, that’s why they kept that first round pick and traded up for him so they aren’t going to move him. Especially for Howard..

you vastly overvalue Krug, Backes is a cap dump. Dunn is young you need to give him a chance yet you don't. Howard is terrible, and a rental you can get him for pretty much a 2nd 3rd and foley something along those lines.
