No cap space to resign Marchand and Pastrnak. That's a fail, don't want to touch Ladd. He's old, breaking down, and not worth the money he'll get. Bruins need to look ahead more than the present. Signing a player like him doesn't help.

Also, Nielsen gets more on the market and Russell does as well (and he is not worth it. Look at his advanced stats. Brutal).

Maybe you didn't read the tag or name of this Bruins 16-17. Marchand and Pastrnak are under contract until the season after. I don't know how much you plan on paying Marchand but I'm sure you would be able to find the extra money to add to his 4.5 he currently holds and Pastrnak is an RFA and will probably receive a bridge deal. Ladd is 30 years old and still had 25 goals last year. Nielsen is a 32 year old 3rd line center on most teams at most he receives 4 mill per and well if you put a lot of stock in advanced stats I guess you also believe in unicorns. Thanks tho.
