Sorry to break it to you dude, but no one wants Weber. Especially the team that is getting all the media attention about having cap troubles coming next season when Matthews and Marner need extensions. Adding Weber's 8 million dollar deal, doesn't seem like a good idea.

Don't know why any knowledgable hockey fan think the Leafs are going to be in cap hell. Cap hell is when a team has too many bad contract sor too many retained contracts or too much wasted money on buyouts.
The Leafs have very little of these. If the Leafs find themselves in cap trouble because too many players are deserving of big contracts, then the Leafs might have trade a high priced player. But then they would get good inexpensive value in return. Hardly cap hell at all.

Weber isn't what the Leafs need. They need guys who can skate the puck out of danger, not sit in front of the net and cross check anyone who comes near. Weber isn't fast enough to do anything other than score PP goals and clear the front of the net. Since the Leafs have zero trouble scoring PP goals, do they really need an old slow guy who can't keep up with the play of the game anymore? No they do not.
