You can't sell Drouin that low just because of two bad games... Nylander hasn't played a complete season in the NHL and wasn't even able to produce in the AHL... Give Drouin another season at the very least, he is only 23 and full of talent. This guy still have the potential to reach 70 pts, he just have to simplified his game. He is also putting to much pressure on himself.

i like Drouin to but Nylander gives us a 20 year old waiver exempt winger buying us a few years .
Drouin was brought in to play Center and has not been able to . We dont need wingers today unless they are Right Handed ,have size and skill which Nylander checks all those boxes.

but without Mccabe the deal doesnt make sense especially when MTL is trying to move out Roster players because we got 4 injured players looking to return at some point on top of Plekanec and Alzner as health scratches .
Mccabe would be the only roster piece we could take from BUF because he fits our only true need

That would probably work. I went with Sobotka because he's playing 3rd LW and that's apparently where Drouin is right now. I'll flip it to McCabe and add a pick.

Nylander had a great preseason and looks like his game is about to improve. He’s an 8th overall pick. Drouin has done nothing. Buffalo would laugh at this offer
