I'll go Line - By - Line here in a moment because I want to mention that if the Rookie excitement wears off or the Sens don't surprise the league going 6-3 or better White, Formenton, Tkachuk, Jaros, Lajoie would likely be better off in the AHL. (I think Formenton is the only one that isn't eligible so he could stay and then spend December in the Team Canada Camp and tourny)

But for now everyone is in a position to succeed.

Tkachuk - Duchene - Ryan showed some chemistry this pre-season and would run a pretty solid cycle in the offensive zone. If Ryan struggles to keep up he can swap with Dzingle as Dzingle had some pretty good chemistry with Duchene last season and has proven he can score. Again, hoping to get Ryan going and a chance to succeed.

Formenton - White - Stone. Formenton gets to play with the Sens best winger who turns the puck over a ton and Stone can hopefully catch him in stride for a transition style line. White has no business anchoring the bottom line and if he can't make it with this deployment then he shouldn't be on the roster today (not saying never)

Boedker - Tierney - Dzingle. Both Boedker and Dzingle are 40 point pros and very value-able top 9 guys that can score. This line should do well against most competition. Tierney and Boedker both played with each other in San Jose so there should be some familiarity there as well.

Paajarvi - Smith - Pyatt are all NHL pros and suited for the 4th line grind and PK. Smith is decent in the circle and they should be able to grind out a cycle until getting an offensive zone faceoff for the other lines. I don't expect them to be point getters though.

If they are sent down, Paul gets called up and McCormick gets in for Formenton and Brady. Jim O'Brien slides into that 4th C spot and Harpur draws in for Lajoie and the Sens become as bad as everyone is expecting them to be.
