I don’t think Smith will be claimed only because of his cap hit. I think interested teams will wait and get OTT to retain on Smith rather than taking the full deal

Yea, Ducks do not need another 30+ year old center. He only had 5 goals last year and still on the books for another 3 years at 3.25mil. I'd pass. We need to get younger and faster. I think either Steel or Lundestrom will get their chances at that 3rd line C.
