OK, good job. I can work with that.
Now, seeing as you don't have a 2019 2nd, the pick would no doubt have to be the 2020 2nd (NYI)
Because of that, here are the "good prospects" that interest me most.....can you work with any of them?
Ryan Merkley
Kieffer Bellows
Calen Addison
Jakub Lauko

Maybe Lauko. I'll ask my AGM what he thinks though.
If my AGM likes the deal would you do Backlund for Lauko, Bennett, and a 2nd?
Just being honest....
I would still prefer either Merkley or Addison only because the draft pick won't come until 2020.
But if it absolutely must be Lauko, I may need to ask for something small to be added.
Let's not forget Backlund is one of the leagues premiere defensive forwards. They don't come cheap.

I'd much rather move Lauko. I'm still waiting to hear what my AGM thinks. I know i have the final decision but my decision is to wait for him to answer. But maybe Lauko, Bennett, a 2nd, and a 5th?

Jakub Lauko, Sam Bennett, NYI 2nd 2020, NYI 5th 2021
for
Mikael Backlund
Deal?
I would need a pick that's in 2019.
As it is, the 2020 pick likely wouldn't be of any service for 2-3 yrs, so 2023, and the 2021 pick would mean waiting until 2024/25
Perhaps we are slightly far apart on the value for who you'd be getting.
I did see others have shown interest in Bennett, I won't be upset if you explore what they have to offer.

Really, i don't care much about the year of the 5th.
I'll do it in 2019, but before we make it official, what is Backlund's injury? Just to make sure he's not out long-term.
He skated with the team today and is on the road trip.
Will not play Sat vs MIN and no real update when he'll return to the lineup.
I will be honest and say I've had another team come forward with interest, and it's naturally in my best interest to hear what they have to offer.
Just want to be up front before anything is finalized.
