Tierney put up 40 points last season and he's a center. I'd say they're pretty even. I'd maybe give DeMelo a slight edge over Carrik. But yeah, it's depressing that no other team offered a better package. As a Edmonton fan I would've been okay with giving up more than that, just for Karlsson as a 1 year rental...

Well they still can go for Karlsson they'd just have to throw in an extra 1st for the condition of moving to an Eastern team.

Basically Edmonton based on this offer would trade Benning, Brodziak, Marody, Maksimov, 2020 1st and 2019 2nd plus those conditional picks they have there..

Gauthier is 23 and is nothing more then a 4th line C
Norris is 19 and has potential to be a top 6 C.
