WHY IS $10,000,000 IN CAP SPACE CONSIDERED CAP TROUBLE?

Description
.

The defense is no good....I'll agree....that's what the $10,000,000 in cap space is for.

How about signing Myers, Ellis or Stralman....then trading Carrick and some extra picks for a guy like Pesce or Parayko.

And all of a sudden....the defense looks amazing:

Rielly - Parayko
Dermott - Myers
Borgman - Holl
Rosen - Ozhiganov
Sandin - Liljegren
Gordeev - Durzi
Nielsen - Rasanen

FINAL NOTE: Matthews, Marner and Nylander will likely sign for less than what I have listed....probably around $2,000,000 less in total.

DUDE YOU DID IT AGAIN.

I didn't say a rental and a late 1st did I? (I did not).

I said we have all our extra picks to offer and I listed them.

Are you saying that St. Louis will easily say no to the following offer for Parayko:

Carrick + 1st + 2nd + 2nd + 2nd + 3rd + 3rd + 3rd + 4th + 5th + 6th + 7th

Please tell me that's what you're saying....it would be HILARIOUS !!!!

That said....your reading comprehension is hilarious either way.

Toronto wouldn’t do that dipshit

I think it’s histerical that you think this is reasonable. Either way Blues want an unreasonable payment for him and Toronto wants to underpay unreasonably for everything. So Blues and Maple Leafs arent good trading buddies. End of Story we are done here nothing more to say or do. It just doesn’t make sense from blues perspective. Next time you make a trade try to see if it makes sense from Both point of views not just what only benefits Toronto and Rips the other team off.

Thank god we agree that my original description was correct then....

"Carrick and some extra picks for a guy like Pesce or Parayko" = some of those picks but not all.

Unnecessary criticism much?

I mean he’s not a first rounder. I’m a bruins fan, if I wanted to throw a trade out with senyshyn involved can I just say that’s the 15th overall pick? No, because he sucks

It won’t happen either way. You have to make unreasonable offer for Armstrong to even be interested.

Why is that hilarious? Because the Blues want to keep a good young defenseman instead of trading him for a bunch of future maybes and a player you don't want? The Maple Leafs will do well, so that is basically four 2nd rounders, three 3rds, and four gambling chances. Not really sure that is worth it for a team that, if goaltending shows up, could be a top team in the West.
