Trades more often than not reflect current value/form rather than career form, especially on 30 yr old declining soon to be free agents. Pacioretty just isn't a logical fit to a young Colorado team whose window is still a bit away yet, plus that's an over valuation of Pacioretty's worth with some other crap thrown in. No way they'd want to extend him til he's what? 35/36?
