If I was Chevy, I'd trade Wheeler this off season. He's a stud but he's already getting into the age where he's going to be dropping off. Giving him that term and dollar value will ruin your cap in a couple of years.

Wheeler won't get more than 4 years from Chevy. This is why Scheifele is learning from Wheels in case he leaves...I would rather sign Stone to a contract like that...He may take it to come home.

I believe Wheeler would rather do term over AAV. Instead of 6 years @ 7.5 mil, Chevy may be able to convince Wheeler to do 4 years @ 8.5-9mil.
