I could see MTL accepting this deal. They get the 1st rd pick and solid prospect (Gurianov) they're asking for. Hanzal could be flipped later on (trade deadline or next offseason) for more assets similar to what they got for Plekanec (2nd rd pick plus project player/s). It would end up a good haul!
