Problem is Skinner holds the cards with an NMC. Would have to waive for this trade to go through.

I think he wants to go home (or be closer) but there really isn’t room in Toronto. Buffalo could be a nice consolation prize, especially going into a contract year on Eichel’s wing.

Chicago wants Faulk but has said they do not want Saad to be part of the trade.

But the trade makes sense.

Would love these lines, think you're spot on there. Unfortunately sounds like Chicago doesn't want to give up Saad or Schmaltz in any trades centered around Faulk, and Canes don't want Anisimov so I doubt they'll make it happen. Hopefully Canes can add a pick or another prospect and make it happen though.
