So go back to the trade. Price for 2 first round picks and Robert Thomas. Forget the salary retain and keep Price . Is that what St-Louis want ? Then come back to us and say 2019-2020 we have a salary cap problem.

I thought you didn't think Vilardi had 1C potential? Haha. The only Kings defenseman that intrigues me is Forbort since he's young and very physical (something we lack). I don't think giving up BOTH Greenway and Belpedio is a good move. Our prospect cupboard is already bare as it is. I also don't see Eriksson Ek being ready to play a 1C role yet, he needs time in a 2C/3C role for at least a season. I'm fine with trading Staal if the return is good, but this isn't the right move (2 aging players and 2 young players for 3 young players and 1 aging player).

I like these trades a lot. But in my eyes I think Vilardi is LA's untouchable prospect. What if you take Nino and Vilardi out of that deal... that might be fair value?

I stopped listening when you spelled choking wrong. because you again don't know what you are talking about. we literally have a goalie coming as a prospect who is doing well. So paying overpay for a 30 year old goalie isn't in our best interest.
