Getting Gallagher and Vilardi

Description
Both of these trades are unrealistic (Gallagher is untouchable to MTL and Vilardi is untouchable to LAK), but this is just for fun. I'm interested to know opinions on value. I may have to use the Wild's 2019 1st instead of a 2nd.

Vilardi would spend the year in Iowa, but I have him and Kunin called up just to show our depth (I'm aware I'm over the 23 man roster limit).
Transactions

LAK
  1. Greenway, Jordan
  2. Niederreiter, Nino (1 000 000 $ retained)
  3. Choix de 2e ronde en 2019 (MIN)
Détails additionnels:
I know Vilardi is considered untouchable, but Greenway gives the Kings a very good C/LW prospect who is ready to play now. Both Nino and Greenway fit the Kings style of big, physical forwards. Forbort helps the Wild add physicality, and Lewis is taken for a cap dump.

The value might be enough for MTL, I think zucker has to go in a vilardi deal

Joel Eriksson-Ek would have to be coming back for Montreal to move Gallagher.

Thanks for the response, I just figured Nino fits better for the Kings style of play. What if I swapped the 2nd for a 1st?

Coyle and Brodin fits two of their needs (a top pairing LD and a young top 6 C/RW). Trading for JEE doesn't make sense for MTL, they have Kotkaniemi and Poehling in the pipeline, with a good possibility of Jack Hughes. JEE projects to be a 2nd line center, with a possibility of being a 1C so I don't see where he'd fit for their future.

The only thing is I don't think the Kings could take his full contract. What if I retained a little more, like $1.5M or even $2M?

If it means we finally have a future 1C, I'm all for it. We could handle it with Koivu coming off the books in 2 years. There's still plenty of space for next season to re-sign Staal and Eriksson Ek and then Granlund and Forbort the season after that (I think Spurgeon is traded next season and we have a lot of RD prospects).

We have Belpedio, Mennell, and our 1st round pick this year Filip Johansson, not to mention our 4th round pick Simon Johansson. That's 4 players who could all play RD. Maybe so, but Eriksson Ek and Vilardi could be great top 6 centers, an area that we really don't have much talent.

Add in Kaprizov and anything is possible. It seems like I'm a lot higher on Vilardi than you are, but a 1st line of Kaprizov - Vilardi - Granlund is fantastic on paper. Again, the Wild don't have may great center prospects. Kunin projects to be more of a wing, and Sokolov has to prove he can maintain a healhty weight. Those are our only legitimate center prospects, so adding a guy like Vilardi would really re-stock that cupboard.

I feel the only way to really be better is to dump parise which is impossible

Parise was far and away our best player in the playoffs. He was also on fire in the last half of the season (he had something like 10 goals in the last 10-15 games, let me look up the exact stat and I'll edit this post). He gets a lot of heat because of his contract and the fact he had a pinched nerve resulting in 2 very poor seasons, but he's still really good. Can he keep up that play he showed at the end of last season for 7 more years? Probably not, but I think he'll always be productive as long as he's healthy.

Edit: So it was 12 goals and 15 points in the last 18 games of the season. That's very good for someone coming off of major back surgery and finding their game again after a rough 2-3 years.
