There is 0 chance of hajek getting moved nyr had him as the mainpiece of mcdonagh trade i can see the others involved getting moved from nyr end but not hajek

I think if we could get Trouba and it wouldn't cost much besides Hajek, the Rangers would do it. I can see Hajek only being moved if the price is right and we end up with a better player.

It's not a terrible deal, but I think the Rangers would be very allergic to trading Hajek. As Shatty said above, in the end I think they would do it, but there wouldn't be much else in the deal (maybe Spooner or a pick). There is no arguing that Trouba is the higher ceiling player and he's already an NHL regular, but the ceiling is high on Hajek also so the margin is small!
