Not a fan of getting rid of Pastrnak. The kid has a lot of upside and at 19 he is already contributing to scoring.

Shane Doan will not be playing anywhere other than Arizona.

Completely agree. If the B's were to entertain letting go of Pastrnak, which they shouldn't, they better be getting a whole lot more than Brodin.

It's true. He won't leave Arizona but if he did he would be a great fit.

Brouwer would be a good fit as well.

I just can't take a mock seriously when they're trading Pastrnak for Brodin. DP is as close to untouchable as it should be. He goes? I want a legit #1 stud defenseman coming back. I don't mean 1 for 1, but if he's involved in a package, I need more coming back than Brodin.

Also, While Krejci to Winny for Trouba makes sense, Bruins need a slight upgrade coming back as well. Did Hamilton land a Krejci-esque player as a return? No. Trouba, who is in a similar situation won't either. I want a draft pick coming back or a prospect.

Very meh mock, and I'm being nice putting it that way.

The problem is that other teams know the Bruins are going to be desperate for D help this offseason, and unfortunately, because Sweeney didn't make any big upgrades during the season, it's completely obvious to other GMs. So, I don't see a scenario where we aren't going to have to over pay, when sending the likes of old and battered Chara, and injured Krejci coming off an underwhelming season and with a $7+ mil contract. As much as I like Pasternak, and I agree, he's going to be a stud, unfortunately he's our best and one of our only good trade chips right now. Who else can you trade right now that's going to get you a potential #1 defenseman, that isn't named Bergeron? No one is going to want any of Morrow, Miller, Trotman, Khoko, etc. Kally, if you were to trade Pasternak, hypothetically, what Defenseman do you think you could get back?
