I don't think WSH is trading away Wilson. He found great chemestry with Ovy and Kuz last year. He's a very usefull player for them, even if he crosses the line too often.

Yeah you need a 2nd round pick or a good prospect to go to MIN in that blue jackets trade to make it even.

The value of the Caps trade is pretty much like you said, square. But the incentive for Caps to do it isn’t. Both Nisky and Willy have become leaders in the room and Caps are also pretty deep on LW as it is. Spurgeon and Zucker are great players but Caps probably won’t be able to afford both of them either.
