I'd play Shultz with Johnson with the former being more defensive-minded. Oleksiak on the right with Maatta seems to be OK..

There is so much wrong with this: Brass at RW (even though GMJR said he'll play LW)? Sprong on 4th line? ZAR and Rust on their off wings? JJ at Right Defense? Oleksiak on his off side with Schultz... yikes

I agree, except Oleksiak is left handed and is on his good side and Rutherford said Johnson is best fit of the LHD on the right side

I had it the same way u did ... until yesterday when GMJR said of all 4 of our LH Dmen , he thinks JJ is the best of them all on his right side.

- Rust played LW 70% of time last year

brass at RW? that's the worst possible spot for him, we are already jammed at RW so much so that rust should be the 4th line RW(not sprong, sprong is not a 4th liner).

Ahhh.. the NHL career mode style of managing (just put guys where you want and their game stays the same)
1. Pens management has stated Brass would play left wing (if not only because we already have a complete log jam at RW)
2. You don't start a sniper at 4th line wing because "he needs to earn it" - His defensive game lacks, he needs to be put in a position to succeed and score, not be playing 7 min a night and tasked with mucking and grinding
3. Rust's game in both real stats and advanced stats slipped HARD when playing LW, will he play there? Maybe, but why...
4. A guys handedness doesn't dictate how good they are a specific position, yikes
5. See 4, and, like Rust, his game is better and preferred on the right - i.e. how well he played with Cole as a RD then when he was moved to left with Ruhwedel. Why put JJ AND JO on their off side? Not logical..
