so this is the answer to "how to make the bruins as bad as possible?"

Also who the hell is T Heed and why are the Bruins trading Carlo for him? Did you mean to include 5 first rounders coming back from San Jose in that deal?

Tim Heed has a few decent games for the sharks last year. But these trades make Begevin and Chiarelli look good lmfao

You can't make this **** up. He shouldn't be anywhere near a top 4, he's been carried two straight years by Krug and Chara.

he carried krug all season in their own end. it's not a coincidence that the second he went down krugs pairing couldn't get the puck out of their own end.

watch, don't read. In terms of continuing any sort of discussion just know that I take a glance at a graph like that and ignore it. Rick Nash is a corsi god.

I'm doing both. This is to help you understand that being 6'5 does very little, and actually getting the puck out of your zone, is what gets the puck out of your zone. Krug does that, Carlo doesn't. Carlo has a negative shot impact on his team, Krug a positive. I've watched all but say 5 games the Bruins has played in the last 3 or so years, I'm so tired of people just following story lines made up by people with so little insight they think "eye-test" means judging defensive capabilities by length.

dude, did you watch the playoffs? Krug was horrible.

Carlo did have a pretty significant dip in the middle of the season. Lets call it a sophomore slump, it's pretty common with young d men. He was playing unreal towards the end of the season, I think he got his legs back. Theres no question Krug stretches the ice more. However he gets himself into so much trouble trying to anticipate an opportunity to jump up ice, or taking an extra step to look for a pass. Then he either turns it over or tries to spin it to his partner behind the net and puts it in Carlos skates. Krug is a powerplay god but a 5 on 5 peasant in his own end when playing against competent opponents. That showed against Tampa before he shattered his ankle.

Well my point is that this doesn't at all happen to the extent you think it does. People anticipate this from Krug, but not Carlo, and draws conclusion based on a skewed view of reality. This is why we use numbers - to not let our minds fool us. As you clearly can see, Krug doesn't let up shots more easily than Carlo, and doesn't mispass it in his own zone as much.

Advanced stats for defensemen = trash. they're just trash. useless. 100% complete and utter garbage. As I see here....no. No. As I see watching the game Krug makes a **** pass to his partner time and time again and they're fishing the puck out of their net.

The problem is the threshold for tracking those stats is garbage. What's a mispass? Is it one that doesn't connect? Or is it one in his partners skates so the forecheck is on top of him before he can get a stick on the puck? It's different in every building, and that's why it's trash.

Calm your tits people, it’s for a game. The Lucic trades were ****, I know and they are being reverted. Carlo was traded for JT compher as well, but he is in Colorado irl and was on SJS in the game. That is all Carlo is worth. They need to see the rosters so this is what this is. These comments go to show how toxic most people on this site are.

You're not even arguing anymore, saying something is trash doesn't make it trash. I'm not going to sit here and educate you, cause clearly you have decided, and as for how you think more information makes a judgement worse, well, hopefully you hear how that sounds.
