Description
J.Armia signing is a 1 year show me deal. He'll be UFA in 2 years so it's 1 year or long term (4-5 years), he needs to prove his worth first.

P.Danault signing : He's a great 3rd line center and can move up to 2nd line C for a long stretch (if injury happens). The cap hit is comparable to other centerman of 40pts/year.

The M.McCaron and K.Rychel deals happens before the start of the season. They are waiver eligible and they're not part of the best 13F group. Move 'em for draft picks because REBUILD!

P.Byron is an excellent PKer, very speedy and responsible PLUS he can score goals (20G in 16-17, 19G in 17-18). He'll be UFA next summer, so move him at the trade deadline to gather draft picks.

I'm not even trying/thinking to trade Price or Weber since they're essentially untradeable...

When S.Weber comes back, in early 2019, he'll just slot in front of Petry so everyone on the RD will drop down (Schlemko now #7).

I must admit, as much as I like Bjugstad, he's not a #1 center either. So he slots in there only temporarily (moving Drouin back to the wing where he belongs).

For the lines combinations, we all know Julien will try a thousands different ones (everyone will have a shot pretty much on every lines). I see Julien trying Hudon besides Danault and Bjugstad at some point and Lehkonen and Armia too.

This season is going to be a mess, let's be real about it! But, it's a phase that we need to go through to be better in 2-3 years.

If that trade happens with a Pacioretty extension I think you would be getting a first round pick instead of a second.

Bjugstad's a centermen and they come at a premium. He's not worth as much as Pacioretty, but the fact that he's a big C capable of producing, I'm fairly sure FLO won't give him up with a first round pick...that's just my opinion, though.

They already have their three centers of the future though. Bjugstad has also never put up more then 50 points and has primarily played the wing the past couple years.

To lock up a 30 goal scorer that’s as complete of a player as Pacioretty it would probably take a first rounder.

I still think Florida is one team that could just wait till free agency for him.

I think Bjugstad still has some untap potential. He could become a very solid 2nd line two-way centermen, 55-60pts a year. He had a great second half, last year, playing with Huberdeau. If he's well surrounded, he can still grow.

I dont know if Pac's will be available next summer. He'll definitely get traded and I think he'll extend with the tem he's traded to. He has 4 kids, don't think he want to test free agency and not know where he's going to play.
