You have the wrong information. Our GM said the deal wasn't even close before the draft or during the draft, so he wouldn't go. GM's MTL and STL also said the price is very high and they can't afford the ROR

I don't know. MTL and NYI reporters were saying mostly the same thing. Regardless, I think ROR gets moved. Maybe we revisit this post in a couple hours lol

I know what they were saying. But after that, I saw Botterill's interview with his own eyes, where he said the deal wasn't close. Maybe Montreal wanted to trade Pacioretty to you, 11 or 12, and offer 11 or 12+++ for ROR, but Botterill was not going to accept this offer.
