If this team got great goaltending they would fight for a playoff spot sure. The cup though? I think you're missing a lot of depth to make that happen. Centre depth isn't strong and the scoring will still be a struggle out side of the top line. Also that James Neal signing is not a good idea, you're paying for his past production. He's never going to match his 7 million dollar seasons.

It is interesting as a CAR fan to see the contracts people are handing out to Hanifin & Lindholm

I feel like most of the CGY fans keep overpaying Lindholm, and underpaying Hanifin

Ferlamd was our main trading piece. Don't disagree with you on the way there getting paid though

That 4th line is not built to do what 4th lines are built to do.

CGY isn't sending Dube up north and EDM isn't sending Yamamoto down south.

No point launching Lazar for the price. He's a useful depth option and can play AHL minutes if need be.

And have you forgotten that CGY bought out Murphy just last summer? They aren't bringing him back. We're still struggling to understand the buyout in the first place.
