Overpay to Carolina. Skinner is a UFA next year and you sauced them a 90 goal scorer, a goalie that they will use as a starter and a player who put up 50 points 2 years ago (with sid but whatever)

because if he goes to arbitration he could end up paying him over 3 million that's why.

A couple reasons, 1 would be because it’s a multi year deal. 2. Is because had GMJR qualified him, Sheahan could have taken the pens to arbitration and gotten overpaid cause players with similar stats got paid 3-4 million per season. Pens wanna give him a prove it to me contract.

UFAs don't go to arbitration. He became a UFA after the deadline for qualifying offers. Philly cheese steak probably.

But GMJR did not qualify him so the train doesn't go to arbitration station.
