St. Louis declines - they don't have an incentive to move Parayko, and if they did, they would want a player like William Nylander coming back. Simmonds for 1 year, a backup who will get hurt, and a young defenseman who is ceiling is really a #4 isn't going to do it for St. Louis to move Parayko. They would most likely want Travis Konecny+.

The Carolina deal - the value is there, but they would most likely decline. They can get a better return elsewhere. If PHI is interested, it would probably take a prospect like Tanner Lacynski and the 19 overall selection for them.

Ottawa deal - seems fair, not sure if I would do it however.
