99% this was just a joke & the creator knows this will never happen.. for multiple reasons.. Your acquiring 2020 first round picks and selected 4 guys from the 2018 draft class. That is not very possible. Your signing Trouba and Hanifin who are RFAs in 2018 as RFAs in 2019 (they will no longer be RFAs). Even if you did sign them, you didnt acquire their rights, so you would need to give up multiple picks, which you dont have. Your signing Carlsson & Tavares, who will be signed to long term deals in 2018... so Again, they wont be available in 2019.... The trades are 1 sided, like a 4 rhinos on one side of the scale and 1 feather on the other.

You built a solid team under the salary cap... If only rules didnt exist, other teams GMs approved and some common sense on UFA/RFA (and years) existed, you would have done a bang up job here. Its always fun to dream of the lottery being forced to list the numbers you have...

Did the 2018 off season cease to exist? This weekend Holland is going to draft Zadina 6th, trade Nyquist, Ouellett, picks 30, 33, 36, 2 2nd round 2019 picks and prospects to acquire Hanafin, 7th and 8th and select Wahlstrom and Hughes. Then he is going to sign Tavares and Carlson when 2018 free agency starts. Trouba is going to sign a 1 year deal with Winnipeg this year so that he is UFA next year and Holland will sign him as a free agent. Next, Detroit is going to win the lottery next year and select Jack Hughes 1st overall. Finally, Detroit will become the first team to go undefeated in the regular season and playoffs in the 2019-2020 season and win the Stanley Cup. Easy.

Edit: Also, McCarron is going to sign a 1 year deal this year also and sign as a free agent next year.

But those players dont have anywhere near the value of Tatar. Dekeyser is on a very expensive contract and he plays like a #5 dman. Daley is decent but not worth a 1st by any means. Helm is a 4th liner
