It is. I’ll stand by my take. 1st for Grub is fine, though I’m guessing we’ll get pick 12 from NYI. So that’s less value there.

Im also not swapping Tage Thompson straight up for Burakovsky. Especially given my point above.

I hear ya. Gruby should get a pick in the teens, and the Isles def could use a goalie. I feel like we're all still waiting for Burakovsky to break out so his value is hard to gauge, but regardless, the Blues moving right-shot RW/C for left-shot LW doesn't make sense to me. Until Thomas and Kyrou join the fun, our entire top 9 is left handed, and it shows on PP and half the faceoffs... just doesn't seem like a good fit.

I think Fabri is worth a lot more than that 2nd, taking on Bouwmeester for on year will not send the Sabres into cap hell.

It's because a lot of my fellow Caps fans ignore the facts and continue to argue that Burakovsky is a top line player. He is a middle-6 scoring winger who has yet to break 40 points and is injury-prone. He could maybe be better if he could stay healthy - he has offensive creativity and a nice shot.
