I like the Ceci trade but Brown as our 2C is probably a bad idea seeing as he's played 4 games in the nhl.

Ofc, you do your team unloads a defender that had a horrible season and requires a offer of 3M+ a year but somehow get a top ten pick. Seems pretty unrealistic

I've seen this trade a few times and (sens fan) I'm not sure where it started but Ceci does not move you up 12 spots. Especially to EDM who has 4 Dmen contracts already over 4million and possibly a 5th with Nurse if they want to go long term and not bridge. Ceci would make all 6 guys with contracts over 4million. Does not make sense.

Also, Walhstrom is not available at 10th

I would imagine White and JGP fight for the 2C spot. White did a good job at the worlds with team USA.

Brown likely suits up as a duo with Chaplik and gets one of Gaborik/Burrows on the right side as L4. L1 Hoff-Duch-Dzin L2 Smith-White-Stone L3 Paajarvi-JGP-Ryan (Pyatt as 13th forward and fights Brown for his spot) Ryan also takes a few shifts as L2 LW. Sturtz and Gagne fight for the L4 RW spot. Batherson, Formenton, Paul, Luchuck, O'Brien, Sexton all take a kick at the can in camp to fight for call spots (or a 9 game look for the younger guys.)
