I see but I think he can be useful for the habs. He made 48 points in 62 games, he's only 25 and he's a reliable center. Also, Julien is going to like him.

And don't forget the 1rst round pick that is going with him.

No thanks from Edmonton.

Considering Pacioretty's age, how poor of a season he had, his ability to disappear during stretches of the season and during playoffs, and the cost of his extension, I'd be very against moving RNH for him unless it was a deal I would be foolish to decline. As they are now, there's not a huge difference between RNH and Pacioretty value-wise. It's at most a 2nd or 3rd round pick going either way, depending on who you ask. So Edmonton essentially moves the #10 pick for the #35 and #67 picks.

RNH finished the season alongside McDavid and put up some pretty silly numbers as a LW. The duo maintained their pace at the WCs this summer. He costs about the same as an extended Pacioretty, is younger, more defensively responsible, and can take faceoffs. Not much of an incentive to move him right now.

Be more like Max and your 1st for RNH and their 1st and you still prob have to add a mid level prospect or pick. That is more fair value. EDM still says no. Jyst because it’s fair and wqual doesn’t mean it works.

I don’t think JK lasts to the 10th either.

Yes..we know. You are one of those over value players on your team type.

Here’s the reality check. RNH has more value than Max.

C has more value than wing

3 year contract versus 1

4 years younger

Better defensively

Hell Was better offensively last year.

The difference from the 3rd pick to the 10th isn’t enough to make up that difference so they’d have to add a little more, nothing special, role player type or mid round pick

That is reality.

You can go back to your fantasy world now.
