Thank you for your response
So Dahlin who plays RD in Europe you will switch to LD in the NHL and then have Orpik play his off wing as well. Why not have Orpik and Dahlin play their comfortable side?
Only Oshie scored more goals among Washington's RW last year (18 v 15 with 60% more ice time than Connolly), Connolly 0.032 pt/min was also 6th among all Washington forwards, so I guess I am trading Guhle for a top 6 RW which is what you want to do.
I would rather keep the 32 over all, I trust Botterill to make a great pick as he did last year.
The more I read, the more I think he plays left, and you know I've been there with you with Dahlin playing on the right. The way play flows from the D to the forwards, and what they expect out of him, wanting him to drive the offense from the back, he may start at LD. Guhle is more valuable than 32OA, if 32OA is good enough to get Connolly, I'm not going to over spend, that only hurts the Sabres. Im not worried about a pick if your converting it into not only a top 9 forward, but a guy who will shift he culture and has winning experience. All the Sabres ACGMs have tunnel vision on getting younger with no other plans, I want to get better immediately, especially after lucking into Dahlin. They already have a ton of prospects, they need to grow them in a winning culture
