lol yea yea yea.... I think Hamilton is overvalued but agreed that is a horrible underpayment, I just got lazy.

by doing that your burying to good 2nd overall pick in the 3rd line until tavares retires, last season he flourished with extra ice time

i'm not saying it's a stupid move to sign tavares but letting to very good prospect sit on the 3rd line throughout his career is very questionable

you gotta get more for Simmonds than a 7 pick upgrade IMO Simmonds was really banged up last year and still brings grit, leadership and 30 goals a year to the table. If VAN could get an extension in place that would be a sweet deal sliding down to 14

Unless you leave Tavares unprotected in the Seattle expansion draft smile

Hopefully Patrick will blossom into that 1st line center.
