Gus Nyquist is a good player who can (and likely would) walk at the end of the season. Ericsson does nothing but fill a roster spot. Russo is NOT a top 4 prospect. He's 25, so he's not even really a prospect at this point, he's an AHL depth guy/injury call up.

I don't know what a detroit deal would look like, but it would have to include AA, Hronek, the 6th OA, and Something else? maybe another 1st top 5 protected? Also Matt Peumpel because it would make me laugh

I was thinking Nyquist agrees to an extension as part of the trade.
By top 4 I meant he can play in the top 4 eventually. Needs to be given the chance.
