    Maybe a 2019 4th? Buffalo is in desperate need of a goalie. I do agree with you, maybe two 2nds is too much. How's 2018 2nd round pick (BUF), 2019 4th round pick (BUF) and Linus Weissbach?

    Not really in desperate need... Lehner has a down year but is still a career .917 G. Linus Ullmark is the starter next year. I could see BUF trading maybe like a future 2nd and 4th for Grubauer and have Ullmark and him tango for a year or two

    Well this statement leads me to believe that you really do not listen to any of the new conference or interviews that GM Jason Botterill does as if you had been listening you would have heard multiple times that Linus Ullmark is his #1 Net Minder for 18/19 season. That Ullmark will play at least 50% of the games. That Ullmark has done everything he and the organization has asked and done it well and therefore deserves the role as the #1 goalie.

    GMBots does not make public statements as a smoke screen.... what the guy states is what happens......

    So Biscuit is spot on when he stated that Buffalo Sabres are not really desperate for a goalie.... they will happily sign a FA to mentor and tutor Linus.

    I assume this is directed at me? I haven't listened to any of the new conferences or interviews from Buffalo GM Botterill. I barely have time to keep track of everything caps related lol, so unfortunately I don't have time to watch every GM interview. Good to know though, hopefully Ullmark does well for you guys.

    No we aren't.

    We have ullmark, we drafted one last year and we can sign one in free agency without giving up the store.
