4th year is a bet much and I'd rather not do that, but at only 2.75 it's more palatable. Flames need a 4th line C that can be productive

    Détails additionnels:
Maybe not the ideal fit with MIN already having 4 good D. But with Suter out this playoffs shows how important a deep blueline is. Also Dumba and Zucker are gonna be paid big time this summer, moving Nino for Brodie saves them some room. yes only 600k but at times this season MIN couldn't recall players because they only had like 15 k in cap space, every dollar counts.

Flames need to move Brodie because he is by fat their best trade chip, especially with only limited picks

Targets other than Nino could include, Zuccarello, Josh Anderson, Eberle, Simmonds, the list goes on and on

      SIGN David Perron

Instead of bringing back Versteeg, sign Perron to play with Jankowski and Bennett. Perron is a proven scorer that can produce on the PP and play with some grit

Good changes... Good roster. Preferably perron would get less but i like the ideas shown here.

Also since they have lots of cap room i would keep brouwer and bury/try to trade. Nit worth the buyout if you still have the room.

Intriguing ideas. I don't know if I see Nash signing here to be just a fourth line centre after his breakout season. For the money I'm happy just keeping Shore there. Brodie trade looks good, definitely hadn't thought about MIN before as an option but could make sense. Only thing that worries be about Perron is that he had essentially one good year on a Vegas team that had a lot of things break perfectly for them so I'm hesitant to give him a big deal in case he moves back to a career average of 40-50 points. I'd prefer a name like Thomas Vanek who would be a shorter term and likely much cheaper deal because of his age.

Perron is the real deal and would be a great fit with Janko/Bennett to get that 3rd line scoring. BUT, at $6M/yr, I'm not loving it. 3 year term isn't bad that.

No reason whatsoever to buyout Brouwer. Could trade him and retain $1.5M for just 2 years instead of $1.5M buyout for 4 years. Could pick up a late pick in the process.

Niederreiter is interesting. I don't think MIN would do that deal for Brodie straight up, but that's because they have a deep D group and not because the value is off. Would prefer finding a proven right-shot top 6 guy for Brodie (like Palmieri or Gallagher, etc.).
