The EK65 trade is a three way deal between TOR-ARI-OTT. To complete the trade, TOR sends their 2018 2nd round pick & Matt Martin to ARI in exchange for F Laurent Dauphin & ARI 2018 7th round.

I mean, it is not thta far fetched to believe they can turn the boat around with those moves in less than 2 seasons...N.Merkley, A.Formenton, T.Chabot, T.Liljegren, C.White, L.Brown, lots of good/great young talent with skill and speed.

I know that it's hard because of the rivalry and proximity of the teams, but still, it makes a TON of sense for both teams individually, doesn't it?

Stone doesn't deserve more than Gaudreau got last year, which is 6.85M$ AAV. Stone will get pretty much that or a little less, hence my 6.65M$ AAV for 8 years.
