I personally will always take a playoff performer who can play C or W, love the versatility. I think Braun is sturdy enough to balance out the D pairings. Just me thinking outside the box out loud on this armchair team though. I would still prefer a big fish from the East, but I know Yzerman will make some small but shrewd moves.

Love the fact that you're doing something a little different. I would be hesitant about bringing in 3 new faces. Especially for Palat who is part of the leadership group and one of Cooper go to guys in any tight games. Would love to see Braun come over though, but i reckon him and Sergy would be pretty solid.
