Any chance the Rangers could get Sergachev? Or at least and upgrade over one of those prospects?

I don't think Yzerman parts with Sergachev, heck i'd ask, but i think it would picks & something from the TBL prospect pool. HOWDEN, RADDYSH, FOOTE?

Yeah, thats my load up on prospects model, based on wherever TSN said Nash & MDonagh were going on my lunch break at the time.

Wanted to load up on picks in round 1 & 2 in 2018 to trade UP in the draft, maybe into the top 5.

Hajek looks like a good defence prospect. Sure, i'll take it.

To quote Yzerman when he was asked if Point or Sergachev would be available for trade at the deadline for McDonagh he said, "We are trying to win, We would want to add to our team, not go sideways."

As for upgrading, Foote is our best D prospect and on this site everyone says Raddysh is our best Fwd prospect. Not sure what upgrade you're looking for.

That's cool. Sounds good, i'm sure someone will think i'm a right idiot but i have a few different scenarios. Obvious take the best deal, don't force one with a specific team. I just build one on my break based on what i'm reading or hearing. My thoughts are get A - B prospect under 22 & picks in rounds 1 & 2 for 2018 & trade up in this draft.

To get McDonagh, TBL will need to part with Raddysh OR Foote (not both) in any deal along with picks & other prospects. Something like 2018 1st, 2019 2nd, BRETT HOWDEN, TAYLOR RADDYSH & LIBOR HÁJEK OR 2018 1st , 2019 2nd CALLAN FOOTE , HOWDEN & BORIS KATCHOUK or ALEXANDER VOLKOV

None of those guys will be in the NHL for 2 years. TBL want to make 2 deep runs in that time & keep Sergechev & 1 of it's top 2 prospects. Gotta give to get.

No interest in Foote or Raddysh. Dotchin is a start. But then you're looking at 2 1sts. Plus a 2nd. These prospects just aren't very good.

It doesn't matter, i liked that McDonagh offer of Raddysh, Howden, Hajek, 2018 1st, and 2019 2nd. I already took that offer.

I mean all things considered. Yeah. Foote's a stay at home d-guy who's super conservative, you can take back Marc Staal if you want a good replacement for him. Frankly, I'd rather you guys keep em all and see your cup window shrink into nothingness. It's shaping up like you guys are about to have 9 guys representing about 70% of your cap in 3 years. Assuming you want to keep Point and Serg and Vasilevskiy and Kuch for any longer than a bridge deal. It's going to cost at least 6mil for any of them.

You might as well maximize that window now that you have it.
