Description

Nashville and Carolina are both DEF. heavy in the system, in need of wingers, which the TML have, Leafs need a solid 2-way DEF. Have to Think Nash would waive for Nashville, not Carolina though.

TML: McDonough + NYR 5th
Nashville: Nash $3.9M + NYR 6th + TML 7th
NYR: Martin/Leivo/Bracco/D. Fabbro + 1st rd TML/1st rd Nash + 2nd rd TML

Not exactly crazy about another left-hander but the trade isn't terrible for anyone involved, Trading bracco hurts and maybe some other depth prospect goes instead. This feels like the duchene trade but good for everyone.

Good point, probably a 1st and a 3rd would be better.

The MCD trade is fine but why in gods name will NASH give up a 1st and Fabbro for Nash? That's horrible. Nash is a nice piece but damn thats way too much.

Nashville giving up too much. maybe make it a 1st + Aberg insted of Fabbro. I actually think the leafs need to add another little something. sens gave up more for duchene (turris,1st,3rd)
