You know Tavares wants to go somewhere to win right? Making 14.5 and having Weber at 8, the'll field an AHL team, might as well stay on island

Doubt it he wants to play for a cup contender, And JT on the Habs still isn't a legit cup contender Tampa, Nashville or St Louis i see him going to one of those 3 teams if he makes it to UFA.

none of those teams can afford him at 14 mill. and how can u say that a team with price as a goalie is not a cup contender? we just need to add, and get rid of some other pieces. we have the best goalie in the world

Have the Habs ever been close yet to winning a cup with Price in Net? The answer is no and Price as he ages is only going to regress. And with the tax situation here in Florida Tampa doesn't have to offer Tavares $14 million they can give him $10 million and that's like $14 million in Montreal pay.

I like it, although I would not trade Danault, and I'd prefer Thomas from St. Louis instead of Vilardi, but overall good trades.

      Yikes!

Roslovic is ranked lower by scouts then Mccarron and not projected to be a top 6 player
he has shown absolutely nothing that justifys the huge loss we take on shaw (if you dont see shaws contribution you are not looking )

the Danault trade makes us worse overall i wont even pick it apart its just bad for PIT who has a tight cap and a lot of mouths to feed include Jake Guetzal
who they wont let get anywhere near offer sheets because they arent as dumb as MTL was with Subban

Gaborik a late 1st pick so we can get another mccarron ? i mean i like Vlardi but his skating is as bad as Maccarrons
its a lateral move while taking on a crap contract

everyone wigging out about Tavares and didnt notice you put a Career Right Winger at the NHL level who has never played center at any level
as the bulk faceoff taking center while expect Tavares to take 3000 of the almost 4000 faceoffs the habs average as DLR crumbles after 6-8 faceoffs Vlardi cant skate at top 6 level no way no how

show some respect to the man he has a medical condition he is addressing
before that he played great for us its our offense that let him down even in 2014 when he got hurt
before that our top 6 was a no show while Vanek-Eller-Bourque lead all forward lines from third including
Bourques hat trick to win and keep us in the mix after Price went down and Tokarski stepped in

plus that summer MB took away Gorges Murray ,Boulion and Diaz costing us 450+ blocks a year and 350+ hits
replacing them with Turnover Kings and top 20 in the NHL at it Beaulieu ,Emelin Tinordi and Gilbert who did not even come close to matching that production

losing markov hurts but losing a top 10 shot blocking D during his time in MTL and Carey Prices life line on Defense with those two moving a lot of pucks up ice to
a speedy Subban breaking to the OZ area to reek havoc.
