Like the ideas but MTL is getting worked on the STL and MIN deals. Price fetches a higher price, no pun intended and I think value wise Alzner and Gally are higher that both those guys so MIN would need to be giving up more to get them.

The issue with the MIN deal is that it's a salary dump on MTL's part, so you have to give some to get MIN to bite on it. Brodin's deal has less term left on it, so the difference in term between Alzner and Brodin can be seen to have value.

It all looked good until that Price deal.

I think if STL offers Allen/Thomas/Fabbri, MTL thinks about pulling the trigger on that deal... especially if they can flip Allen to NYI and get another decent draft pick. It'll hurt MTL's goaltending picture for now, but it'll retool the team real quick when it comes to the C position.

yeah I know Price deal is not the best one but goalie never bring top return so I undervalued him. I think (Mister)Monster1974 is right.
