Quality for quantity... I would say no to the trade but who knows with the Yotes GM.
Do you really want to bring in another 5.5 mil? Taveres is going to want 10-12 mil and Bailey is going to want 6-7 mil.

If you have the chance to get OEL, you dump anyone not named Barzal or Tavares (even at a loss) to do it.

With the cap going up to around 82 million, I think it would be okay. Plus with Barzal making 800K for 2 more years, you have to take advantage.

Pelech and Aho could be second pair defensemen, at least that is the Isles projection for them. With two first rounders, and two 3/4 defensemen, the asking price should be met. At least that's how I got the trade to work.
