That trade with Vegas makes no sense. Sheahan has played just fine with the penguins, that's a downgrade

None of these trades make sense. Why would the rangers want a 4 million dollar Hagelin for a guy that’s less than half that cost and is their most productive player?
Pens are getting a downgrade in the Vegas trade.
I don’t know what the point of getting Dzingel is after the 1st 2 trades

I disagree with that. Sheahan had 2 goals in a whole season so any offense he puts up with the pens is questionable.those guys from vegas are both good centres, youd be upgrading qith a straight up sheahan for just one of them deal.

Because rangers arent going to be able to afford all their players if they sign grabner and all their players realistically. Dzingel is a godd player. Even after the first two tradesb you can never go wrong with having too much talent. You could also look at it as just one of these could happen and thyre all just possibilities.

I disagree about Sheahan. He only had 1 bad year then the wings buried him. Let’s not forget that the year before last he had 14 goals, the year before that 13 goals, and the year before that 9 goals (in 42 games). The pens were just smart enough to buy low on him and get a decent center for pretty much nothing.

As for the rangers, they will be able to afford their players. They really don’t have any plans on bringing Nash back. And he isn’t gonna get an insane contract anyway. They can afford to re-sign grabner and put together a decent team.
